First cycle in years

Just got my period back for the first time since May of 2022…

Two years and 6 months of NO cycle. Digging into my hormones, countless tests, emotional work, healing my gut, quitting alcohol, prioritizing my health, and learning what it truly means to support my body—not just push through.

Here’s what I realized: an unhealthy cycle isn’t just about missing a period. It’s a red flag that something deeper is off—stress, nutrition, overtraining, or just trying to do it all without rest.

I won’t lie—it was hard to face. I had to stop ignoring my body’s signals and start showing up for myself in ways I’d been avoiding for years.

If your cycle feels off—irregular, painful, or non-existent—I get it. I was there for almost 3 years. I know how easy it is to brush it off or tell yourself it’s not that bad. But let me tell you: your cycle is the cornerstone of your health. Everything from energy to fertility, digestion to mood, and long-term vitality depends on it.

The biggest things that helped me?

1️⃣ Eating enough food and prioritizing nutrient-dense meals.

2️⃣ Easing up on intense exercise and syncing my movement with my cycle.

3️⃣ Managing stress—because cortisol is a hormone too.

4️⃣ Asking for help (this was the hardest part).

If you’re struggling, let this be your sign: you are not alone, and you are not “too busy” to take care of yourself.

You deserve to feel strong, at peace and at home in your body. Don’t let 2025 be another year where you fight your body.

This is the start of a new journey, but I am so excited about the progress I have made.
