Why I have been prioritizing Resistance training

For the last year I’ve been working on gaining muscle mass through resistance/strength training.

Muscle is the key to a long & healthy life! A few of the benefits:

~ Promotes bone density

~ Stabilizes blood sugar levels

~ Enhances metabolism = more control of body fat %

~ Lowers risk of injury

~ Mentally & physically you feel amazing

Everyday I prioritize movement because it enhances my energy. If the workout you are doing is draining and depleting, it might be time to switch it up!

Movement should never be a punishment but instead a celebration of life and all that your body can do for you!

PSA: if there’s a day I feel fatigue/sore I listen to my body and refrain from partaking in an intense workout! Learning to listen to what I need each day instead of constantly pushing myself has helped me have more stable energy each day and heal my hormones.
